Christmas Already? Wasn't it easter last weekend?

Yes we all can't believe it but another year has gone by and it's Christmas again. Time to figure out whether to cook for Christmas in the northern hemisphere style or go "oz style" and do the 'seafood' thing. For us, I am looking at doing some swordfish, baked on the barbie, with some summer salads. Click here for the recipe I will be attempting.

I hope you all have a great cookin' Christmas and a tasty New Year.

Merry Christmas,
Brendan (RecipeLover) and the RL Team

Resolutions, I can think of some
After consideration here are my food related ideas for 2010.

  • try and use what's in season and tasting the best, and find a recipe to match
  • experiment more
  • watch that Masterchef DVD I bought
  • do a banquet from particular country for my friends
  • set-up a roving dinner party (one course at each of my friends houses)
  • buy a really good steak grill pan
  • MasterChef News
Recently Eamon Sullivan beat Kirk Pengilly in the final of celebrity Masterchef. We thought the show was great and the standard very high. Congrats to the Masterchef team. If you missed it highlights can be found here.
