Ingredients

  • 500g pork ribs (American works best)
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. brown ribs in extra oil. mix all ingredients in a bowl & add to ribs. Simmer with lid on for 45 mins. Remove lid & simmer for a further 10 mins. Serve with rice.
